Zoom Display Due to advancing age, many seniors experience a decline in eyesight. The Digital Zoom feature on the iPad increases the size of text and other items. Increase Text Size To complement Display Zoom, you are also able to increase the size of font, making it easier to increase overall readability. Speak Selection Speak Selection is a great feature that allows you to select and highlight text and Siri will read it out loud. It is useful when the user prefers to hear audio instead of staring at the screen. VoiceOver Voiceover helps you by reading the menu items on the screen. It can be activated very easily with a single tap anywhere on the screen, making it useful for the visually impaired. Colour Filters and Invert Colors The iPad allows you to adjust the screen and background colours, which is especially useful for clients with vision impairment. Voice commands Siri’s voice commands allows you to make FaceTime calls without physically touching the iPad or even send a message by speaking to the iPad and it will automatically type. This allows you to you cut down on physical interactions with the iPad. You can also type an email, document or message by pressing the microphone and speaking into it.
