Seniors Tech Services aims to make life easier for discerning seniors living independently or away from home by giving them the training and knowledge they need to use basic computers and other tech devices.  

We also believe age should not be a barrier to employment and work tirelessly to help mature employees learn new computer and office skills to compete for office jobs in a dynamic and technology driven age. 

In addition, we provide innovative digital marketing solutions for small business. This includes websites, social media and help with your e-commerce online store. 

We look forward to a time when every senior and mature adult is able to enjoy the benefits of technology without feeling intimidated or lacking basic computer skills. 

Our aim is to deliver this service with maturity, patience, and skill with highly experienced, full time tutors.

Our mission is simple: we want to give you the skills to be confident and productive using your computer, and to give you skills that enable you to use new apps, devices, and software that are now common in the technological age. This will help to better communicate with the world around you and understand it better and enjoy a better quality of life. ​

Dinah is, a former IT professional who recognized a significant gap in tech training for seniors after helping her parents and others navigate the digital world.

Driven by the desire to empower older adults, she  is dedicated to the success of Seniors Tech Services, a company dedicated to providing personalized technology education for seniors.
This is achieved through tailored workshops and one-on-one coaching. Dinah and her team make technology accessible, helping seniors stay connected, independent, and confident in an increasingly digital world. Her mission is to bridge the generational tech divide, one senior at a time.

Our team of qualified professionals has many years of experience teaching seniors and working with people with disabilities at home, in retirement homes, universities, hospice and community centres, small business consulting firms. 

​Through their expertise, they are able to assess your needs and advice on the most appropriate training program, device or technology for your needs. We make every effort to match you with the best teacher for your needs. 

​We work with all skill levels, from absolute beginners to experienced users. Our trainers excel at breaking down tasks into simple, step-by-step processes to make your learning easy and enjoyable. 

Seniors helping seniors: We also hire seniors to teach other seniors whenever we can and people with disabilities. ​

We Believe

We believe that you are never too old to learn new things

• Your trainer will listen and suggest a lesson plan to suit your needs.
• Your trainer will confirm with you a booking time and date for your first and subsequent sessions.
• You will be provided with personalised training that is relevant to what you need and what you want to learn about computers and other technology
• You can learn on your own computer in your own home, If you don’t have one, your trainer will provide one for the duration of the session, at no additional cost.
• Since you are the only student, the trainer’s time is devoted 100% to you and your needs.
• You are in control. We don’t schedule courses, you decide when you want to continue, stop.  Your trainer will adapt to your learning style, needs and wants. 
• Learn at your own pace. Take as long, or as little as you like. Your trainer will move on to the next topic when you are ready.
• No contracts or hidden terms: we work with you based on common sense and what you need. 

Community Commitment 

Seniors Tech Services is committed to helping vulnerable seniors, especially newcomers and refugees, who face challenges in our community when they immigrate, through our Goodwill client program. 

Goodwill Client Program: We are committed to social enterprise. 

​We allocate a high percentage of the proceeds from our work to helping homeless, poor and vulnerable new seniors to Canada to access computer devices and training in languages they understand and provide free information on practical resources in our city to help them reduce isolation and feel welcome in Canada. This includes information on local resources to assist them access subsidized assistive devices where needed and lower fees for computer training. Our free information referral service is especially designed for senior refugees from Syria, Africa, South East Asia and Latin America.

During the Covid crisis we are providing free, remote computer help  to seniors in long term retirement homes. 

donate your used device

Seniors Tech Service collects tablets and laptops and donates them to families and seniors who cannot afford them. If you would like to donate your used device, please contact us.  You will receive a letter of acknowledgement or tax receipt from a reputable charitable organisation, depending on the condition of the device.

Join our Team

Tutors

We are always looking for talented computer tutors who are mature, professional, patient and courteous. Knowledge of both Mac and PC operating systems is an advantage. Lessons are delivered in our offices, in home or remotely. 

Workshop Facilitators

Seniors Tech Services holds monthly workshops on basic computer skills. We need talented workshop facilitators who can keep the audience engaged and interested while learning valuable new skills.

Tech Support

Can you offer high quality technical support to clients in home or in the office? We need you.  Some of the work will be performed remotely too, which means you must have strong customer service and tech support skills.
